The Business Analyst in the Propulsion & Handling division plays a key role in translating data and market intelligence into actionable commercial and strategic insights. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will support decision-making across product groups including Thrusters, Handling Systems, Waterjets, and Propeller Systems – helping P&H sustain its competitive edge across a global footprint.

What you will be doing
- Join a growing Business Development and Strategy team in a high-visibility, high-impact function.
- Support with analysis, including market analysis, strategy development, and the follow-up and implementation of strategic projects. This involves gathering and interpreting data, identifying market trends, and contributing to the formulation and execution of business strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Participate in the evaluation of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) cases. This includes conducting due diligence, assessing potential risks and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making throughout the M&A process.
- Build quantitative models to assess historical performance, forecast scenarios, and prepare business cases – translating complex datasets into clear, decision-ready narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional project teams in driving operational change, working with stakeholders from across the business to achieve project milestones and implement strategic initiatives.
We think you should have
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar from a renowned education institution. Solid academic results.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or a strategy-related role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive clear, actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Experience with M&A evaluations or commercial due diligence processes is a bonus.
