Coordinator
Kongsberg Discovery develops advanced technology used across the global ocean space. To support the training of customers and employees who operate our solutions, we are looking for a structured and proactive Coordinator to join our Training Department in Horten.
In this role, you will coordinate training activities and support the daily operations of the department. You will work closely with instructors, sales teams and project managers across product divisions to ensure that training courses are delivered efficiently and with high quality. You will also be an important point of contact for our customers and contribute to the professional service we strive to deliver.
A typical workday will include coordinating upcoming training courses, supporting instructors with planning and logistics, communicating with customers, and ensuring that participants and internal teams have the information they need. Some days will involve planning activities weeks ahead, while others may involve solving practical issues to ensure that training runs smoothly.
This position suits someone who enjoys creating structure, coordinating activities and supporting colleagues and customers in a dynamic environment. As a coordinator with us, you will play an important role in helping the team succeed and ensuring that our training activities run efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate internal and external training courses
- Support the coordination of larger customers or internal training projects
- Act as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Follow up on customer requests and inquiries
- Prepare quotations and support invoicing processes
- Register and manage course participants and customer information
- Contribute to administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the training department
Education and experience:
- Relevant upper secondary education, vocational school, or relevant studies at college or university level
- Experience from coordination, administration, customer service or similar roles is an advantage, but not a requirement

- Works independently while also collaborating well with others
- Communicates clearly and professionally in both Norwegian and English
- Is comfortable handling several tasks at the same time and prioritizing when needed
- Has a good understanding of digital tools and enjoys learning new systems
