Senior Engineer, Automation Software

As a Senior Engineer, Automation Software, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with our customers in Lifecycle & Performance projects. The department delivers upgrades, retrofits and conversion solutions to existing vessels and installations within the Offshore, Energy, LNG, Merchant, and Naval segments.

We support complete process control systems where we integrate other systems and equipment into one full solution for the customer; Hybrid power systems, LNG, autonomy and digitalization are some of the systems we support.

Responsibilities

• Software automation engineering and configuration
• Test and verification of integrated automation system and applications
• Produce delivery documentation
• Participate in installation and commissioning worldwide, either physically or remotely
• Ensure own work is executed according to plan, procedure, checklist and quality standards
• Support the project team during the project process, including regular reporting of project status
• Close cooperation with other departments e.g. Project Management, HW engineering, sales department, product department and local offices globally

Qualifications and experience

• Education (Technician, Bachelor, Master) within Electronics, Cybernetics, Process, Automation, Power or Control systems
• 3 to 5 years working experience is required
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
