KONGSBERG

Senior Compensation & Benefits Advisor – Pay Transparency

Shape the future of fair pay at KONGSBERG

KONGSBERG is entering an exciting new chapter of continued growth. As our organization expands across markets, technologies, and people, we are strengthening the way we reward talent - fairly, transparently, and in line with evolving global expectations.

We are now looking for a Senior Compensation & Benefits Advisor - Pay Transparency to take a leading role in designing and implementing compliant, forward-looking pay transparency practices across the Group. This is a unique opportunity to influence how a global technology leader builds trust, equity, and competitiveness in the way we pay our people.

Your mission

As part of our Global Reward team, you will be a key architect and contributor behind KONGSBERG’s pay transparency journey. You will combine regulatory insight, analytical strength, and practical HR experience to ensure our policies and processes meet both legal requirements and the expectations of a modern workforce. You will be a key contributor supporting the KONGSBERG divisions and international subsidiaries with your expertise to ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of global pay transparency frameworks, policies, and guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations across regions (EU Pay Transparency Directive, local legislation, reporting requirements)
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and Business Leaders to translate requirements into practical and scalable solutions
  • Support pay equity analyses, salary band structures, and disclosure processes
  • Contribute to communication strategies that build understanding and trust around compensation
  • Participate in broader Compensation & Benefits activities, including annual reward processes, benchmarking, and incentive programs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR colleagues and managers worldwide

Who we believe you are

You are passionate about fairness and data-driven decision making, and you understand that pay transparency is as much about people and communication as it is about numbers.

We imagine that you have:

  • Solid experience from Compensation & Benefits, Reward, or HR consulting, ideally in an international environment
  • Knowledge of pay transparency regulations and equal pay methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with salary structures, job architecture, and pay equity analyses
  • The ability to translate complex regulations into pragmatic business practices
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, evolving organization
  • Relevant higher education and are fluent in English

Why join us?

  • Impact: You will shape a strategically critical agenda at Group level
  • Growth: Be part of a company in hypergrowth with significant career opportunities
  • Global reach: Work with colleagues across countries, cultures, and business areas
  • Purpose: Help build a workplace where fairness and transparency are real competitive advantages
  • Flexibility: Modern ways of working with room to balance life and career

Ready to make pay transparency a reality?

If you are motivated by building fair and future-oriented reward practices and want to do it in one of Norway’s most exciting global technology companies, we would love to hear from you.

Join our team and become a key voice in shaping how KONGSBERG rewards the talent that drives tomorrow’s innovations.

Candidates applying for this position will be subject to a background check as part of the recruitment process, and the results of this assessment will be taken into consideration when selecting the successful candidate.
