Are you a strategic supply chain professional who thrives at the intersection of global trade regulations and seamless logistics execution? We are seeking a dynamic Logistics and Trade Compliance Specialist to champion our international operations. In this pivotal role, you will serve as our core bridge—coordinating directly with freight agents, internal stakeholders, and government authorities to facilitate flawless import/export compliance, precise customs classification, and licensing. Beyond daily operational logistics execution, you will actively manage regulatory risks, unlock duty/tax optimization strategies, and drive continuous improvements that elevate our overall logistics performance. Key Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
- Maintain and follow up the use of company administrative guidelines and procedures
- Be active in cooperation and information flow within department and between departments
- Follow up incoming mails in system
- Systemizing and archiving all correspondence
- Conduct screening; escalate potential matches and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Review and maintain import/export declarations, ensuring accuracy of customs value, Incoterms, and tax treatment
- Manage permits / licenses / TradeNet® (e.g., Singapore Customs, strategic goods control if applicable) and ensure accurate documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, COO, SLI, AWB/BL.
- Prepare, plan and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
- Maintain accurate shipment visibility and track & trace; communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
- To received, dispatch, pick and pack of rental and repair equipment including spares inventories
- Required to undertake ad-hoc projects/ duties which can be assigned from time-to-time
Qualifications, Experiences, Skills and Knowledge (Requirements)
- Required to undertake ad-hoc projects/ duties which can be assigned from time-to-time
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field. Candidate with direct experience will be considered.
- At least 2 year experience in trade compliance and logistics sector
- To possess correct attitude and mindset in collaboration
- To be able to perform in dynamic environment by multi- tasking
- Occasional after office support will be required
- To be able to maintain good temperament even in hectic situations
- Professional working etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Meticulous and customer-oriented person
- Ensure customers’ satisfaction on the quality of service
