Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager for the Navigation and Positioning portfolio, you will be working across many sectors, both in the traditional maritime and offshore markets, uncrewed and remote vessel segments as well as actively searching for new opportunities in any domain. Ideally you have a background in Maritime navigation, Dynamic positioning operations, uncrewed and remote operated vessel. You will leverage your experience and expertise to provide the most operationally effective solutions for your customer’s application. You will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, developing new business and achieving sales targets.
What you will be doing
- Sales of position reference systems and sensors for dynamic positioning.
- Sales of Situation awareness systems.
- Sales of navigation sensors.
- Represent Kongsberg Discovery at industry conferences and exhibitions
- Meetings and follow-up with customers and integrators
- Prepare quotations and engage in contract negotiations
- Achieving forecasted sales targets for defined areas
- International travel will be required
We think you should have
- Technical education or proven technical knowledge in relevant fields. E.g. BSc in a relevant technical direction, Master mariner, Dynamic position specialist, Ocean Engineering or similar.
- Ideally 3 to 5 years+ operational experience in relevant industry
- Experience and proven success in solution-based sales and negotiations
- Self-drive and a solution-oriented mindset
- Awareness of relevant industries / competitors
