Senior HR Advisors
At Kongsberg Discovery, our people are our greatest asset. We are looking for two Senior HR Advisors to join our People Service team in Horten in one permanent and one temporary position.
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the organization, combining operational excellence with trusted HR advisory support. You will work closely with managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality People services and contribute to a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.
This is a varied and hands-on role, where you will have the opportunity to influence HR processes, improve ways of working, and support business performance through professional HR practices.
As we are recruiting for two Senior HR Advisor positions, candidates will be considered for both opportunities unless otherwise specified in their application.

What you will be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for managers, providing operational HR support across the business. You will be advising on topics such as employee relations, absence management, performance follow-up and conflict resolution.
- Case management. Own and continuously improve HR policies, processes and content in our MyHR Personnel Handbook and follow up on cases in our case management system.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies while executing and driving HR processes, such as sick-leave follow-up, annual salary reviews, and transactions in our Human Capital Management System Workday.
- Resolve HR cases and make recommendations and decisions within your area of responsibility.
- Contribute to HR projects and collaborate across the wider HR community.
We think you should have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Around 2-5 years of experience from operational HR and advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience handling employee relations cases and providing guidance to managers.
- Experience working with HR systems, such as Workday
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
