What you can expect:
Our new Sales Director Americas will have overall responsibility for the order income and management of the Americas Sales Department within Maritime Simulation, covering US, Canada and Latin America. The role has a high level of operational activities as well as sales management and includes sales pipeline management, providing sales data, analysis and forecasting in addition to leading the implementation of sales processes as well as follow up, development, coaching and mentoring of existing sales resources where your experience of leading and developing responses to large tenders/solicitations will prove a strong asset. You will develop and implement a sales strategy based on an overall business plan for the region and segments and ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability for existing and new markets and clients. You will develop and maintain both internal networks in the Kongsberg Group and external networks towards partners, market representatives, customers and applicable industry networks. You will contribute in overall sales strategy discussions and also ensure there is a close collaboration between Americas and Norway Simulation sales teams.
