Project Shipment Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Project Shipment Specialist at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn. You will be part of our Project organization and work in a team with three other Project Shipment Specialist coordinating deliveries for our new sales and aftermarket projects globally.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for transport planning, booking, and follow-up, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics for our projects. You will coordinate logistics on a worldwide scale, making sure our operations are synchronized across the globe. You will handle complete transport documents, invoicing, and maintain clear communication with suppliers and customers via email and phone. You will work closely with our Project Managers to ensure deliveries run seamlessly, at the right cost and time. We highly appreciate your ability to make independent decisions, and your negotiation skills will come into play as you negotiate with carriers when needed.

We are seeking you

Preferably with an education in logistics or relevant work experience. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Experience with BAAN and/or other ERP systems is a plus, and we value an interest in and ease with learning new systems.

We highly value strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. While teamwork is essential, you should also be confident working independently. Responsibility, proactivity, and a positive attitude are key traits we seek. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and structure. Flexibility, service orientation, and analytical thinking are also crucial, with an interest in global trends and factors who can influence our deliveries being a plus.

Since we are a company working with customers in the Naval segment, questions related to citizenship will be part of the selection process. Security clearance is required for this position, based on The Swedish Transport Agency’s (Transportstyrelsen) regulations; therefore, being a resident in Sweden for at least five years is a requirement.
