As Naval Architect within the offshore energy and specialized portfolio of vessels the job tasks will be mainly related to development of our vessels within the UT-Design range. The role will require close cooperation with our customers and sales force and cover R&D tasks, development of tender documentation and follow-up work during construction phase.

You will be part of multidisciplinary project teams and good communication and co-operation skills is important.

Key accountabilities

• Develop our vessels portfolio within the UT-Design and NVC-Design range
• Develop General Arrangement, vessel specifications and supporting documentation
• Coordinate supporting teams
• Be a driving force in the decarbonization of our vessel range
• Sales support and customer activities
• Communication with building yards, Flag, Authorities and classification societies

Qualifications and experience

• Master or Bachelor Degree.
• Relevant experience from Yard, classification companies or consultancy (>3-5 years).
• Experience is seen as beneficial, however, we in Ship Design are committed to form new Naval Architects for the future through training and development programs. Do you have the right mindset, talent and motivation we as a team can shake things up and Candidates with less experience will be considered.
