Assistant Engineer

As an Assistant Engineer, you will be part of a global customer support team and you will get valuable experience with Kongsberg products and routines. You will be tasked with both technical and administrative tasks with the goal of being fully trained and ready to start as a fulltime employee once you have completed your studies.  

Main work tasks

  • Support activities for our mainline products K-Chief and AutoChief
  • Service and spare part support
  • Software configuration and testing
  • Administrative support

Qualifications and experience

  • Student at USN Bakkenteigen who graduates in 2024 or 2025.
  • Studies Engineering Courses at Bachelor level
  • Grade C or better on average

You are able to

  • act independent and on own initiative
  • use a methodical and systematic approach and define clear priorities 
  • communicate in a clear, precise, and structured way
  • co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information and support
