The Opportunity
Are you ready to drive innovation and lead a high-impact business unit at the forefront of technology? As Vice President, Navigation & Positioning, you will:

• Shape the strategic direction and growth of the Navigation & Positioning business unit within Seatex.
• Lead a team of highly skilled professionals, including product managers, advisers, and engineers – some recognized as global thought leaders.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from feasibility studies to end-of-life, ensuring profitability and performance in close collaboration with finance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, sales, supply chain, service, and technology teams to deliver world-class solutions.
• Report directly to the EVP of Seatex and play a key role in the division’s leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute ambitious targets for the business unit, aligned with Seatex’s strategic goals.
• Drive organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify and implement measures to enhance business performance.
• Represent Seatex and Kongsberg Discovery in industry forums and with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
Must-Have:

• Leadership experience in technology-driven organizations
• Managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding strategy, business models, and operations.

Preferred:

• Experience with global markets and international teams.
• Background in ocean/maritime technology, navigation, GNSS, radar, situational awareness or related domains.
