As Sales Manager - Naval Sales (f/m/x), you are the strategic architect between our high-end defense solutions and the specific requirements of naval authorities. From market insight to contract – your strategic impact

  • Identify and pursue sales for specialized Naval solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with naval authorities, shipyards and partners
  • Lead commercial bids for complex naval newbuild and retrofit projects
  • Primary contact for procurement agencies (e.g. BAAINBw) and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, sales forecasts and long-term naval project pipelines
  • Monitor naval market trends and competitor activity to ensure KM’s leadership
  • Ensure compliance with naval-specific regulations and security protocols
  • Represent Kongsberg Maritime at international naval exhibition

Your track record – and the mindset to match

  • Degree in Engineering or military background (Navy officer experience preferred)
  • German citizenship required due to high-level security clearance (Ü2/Ü3)
  • Proven experience in technical sales or project management in the defense sector
  • Experience in handling classified or restricted documentation (VS-eingestuft)
  • Strong network within the maritime defense industry and naval circles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Valid driving license and willingness for national and international travel
