Job Title: Software Engineer

Department: E&C Operation - Project Automation

Team: Software

 

Scope of Work

  • Perform assigned technical tasks and carry technical responsibility within project scope.

  • Participate in engineering, SW production, FAT, commissioning, and sea trial activities.
  • Identify product or tool issues and report improvement opportunities to supervisors.
  • Generate new software deliveries and ensure correct server integration
  • Join customer project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, project engineers, and commissioning engineers.
  • Participate in the creation of as‑built documentation.
  • Track software and configuration changes for series and delivered vessels.
  • Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and constructive communication within the team.

 

Qualifications (Required / Preferred)

(Required)

  • Ability to interpret engineering documents.

  • Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills in technical environments.
  • Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • English proficiency for communication with global teams and customers.

(Preferred)

  • Understanding of automation, electrical, or control systems.
  • Relevant engineering certifications or technical licenses.  

 

Key Expectation

  • Deliver high‑quality software and technical work within schedule.

  • Ensure stable automation SW production performance throughout project phases.
  • Facilitate smooth cooperation with customers, shipyards, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and effective project execution.
