Senior Sales Manager

Kongsberg is seeking to hire a high-performing Senior Sales Manager in the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Kongsberg Discovery`s sales team to help us meet our targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The right person will focus on product sales to OEM and end users, but also look for opportunities to cross-sell other products in our portfolio as part of meeting the customer demand. You will join an experienced team, and together be responsible for maximizing our sales potential.

 

Products & Solutions

Kongsberg Seatex, a company within Kongsberg Discovery, develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation and communication comprising GNSS, Inertial, Radar and electrooptical sensors and technology. Your focus will be related to products & solutions, where you will work with further development of product-oriented businesses and operations based on a strong technology platform.

 

In this position your main responsibilities are:

  • To create and maintain customer relations for product sales.
  • Develop sales and customer strategies for our products and solutions
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Operational sales towards defined areas and customers
  • Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG.
  • Order intake budget, prognosis short and long term.
  • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Attend industry conferences and events.

 

Qualifications

  • Education - bachelor's degree in relevant subject.
  • Sales and marketing experience within the maritime industry.
  • Experience in customer negotiation, sales and commercial processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
