A Supplier Technical Engineer ensures that external suppliers consistently deliver high‑quality components, materials, and services that meet the company’s engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing requirements. This role blends technical expertise with supplier development, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure components meet product specifications
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supplier processes, manufacturing methods, and quality systems
• Partner with internal teams—engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing—to align supplier capabilities with business needs
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers on process optimization, risk mitigation, and cost‑effective manufacturing solutions

We think you should have

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, welding or assembly)
• Good communication skills for internal and supplier engagement
• Ability to travel to supplier sites when needed
• Background: Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.
