Software Quality Assurance Engineer

 Main tasks and responsibilities

• Contribute in shaping the future of Kongsberg Maritimes Technology development
• Contribute to Kongsberg Maritimes position as a word class provider of technology solutions
• Driving force behind continuous improvement of development process in order to ensure quality, effectiveness and improve product & process performance
• Monitor, analyze and drive SW development process compliance
• Perform and document risk analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software design, engineering, computer science or information systems
• Working experience in software development and software assurance, as well as knowledge of current SW trends and advancements
• Interest in software quality methodologies, tools and processes.
• Interest in problem solving
• CMMI ® experience is considered an advantage

Personal Qualities

• Strong skills in engineering, technology, and problem solving
• Good communicator
• Systematic and analytic, with good collaboration skills.
• Proactive, risk based and solution oriented

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
