RAMS Engineer

We are looking for a RAMS Engineer and Facilitator to join our team on the journey toward becoming a recognized specialist in RAMS. Together, we are building the capabilities and expertise needed to deliver robust, maintainable, and sustainable products and solutions for demanding environments.
Your Role
As part of our engineering organization, you will work across disciplines to secure structured, data-driven insight into product performance. This means collaborating with product development and other colleagues across the organization.
You will perform and coordinate RAMS activities across all project phases—from concept and design to operation and sustainment. You will ensure that these principles are integrated into product and system development, ensuring our products remain effective and reliable during operational life.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and facilitate RAMS analysis activities
- Support engineering teams with structured reliability and safety assessments during design and development.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess and improve system performance, maintainability, and safety.
- Provide input to maintenance concepts, supportability analysis, and logistics engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure RAMS requirements are met across all lifecycle stages.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and reports for internal and customer reviews.
- Facilitate workshops, reviews, and decision-making processes related to reliability and safety.
- Contribute to FMEA, FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis.
Your Background
We are looking for a structured and analytical person with a strong passion for reliability and safety engineering.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- Experience with RAMS methods and tools, such as FMEA/FMECA, Reliability Block Diagrams, or Fault Tree Analysis is favorable.
- Familiarity with Life Cycle Management, Product Support Analysis and sustainability principles.
- Experience from industries such as maritime, defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability sectors is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant standards is desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills in Norwegian and English.
This employment requires security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority. The successful candidate may start work with limited accesses whilst the clearance is being processed. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
