HR Coordinator
An incredible opportunity awaits! As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for administrating key HR processes supporting operations in the US and Canada. As a member of the HR team, reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will collaborate with a group of experienced and high-performing professionals who are committed to fostering a safe, compliant, and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate university and full-cycle recruitment process
- Support immigration processes by preparing documentation, tracking visa statuses, and liaising with legal counsel and management
- Promote fair and equitable HR processes while assisting managers with employee changes such as domestic and international transfers, promotions, pay adjustments etc.
- Guide managers and employees through effective performance management
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings
- Assist with offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions
- Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Support other HR projects and tasks as needed
Authority
- Approve and execute actions to reach HR objectives
- Approve HR documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, other related field, or applicable experience
- 2–3 years of experience in HR support role
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
- Knowledge of US and Canadian labor laws strongly preferred
- Aptitude to quickly learn the organizations HR systems (experience with Workday a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative verbal and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
