Supplier Development Engineer

As a Supplier Development Engineer within our Propeller Systems business, you will play a key role in evaluating and supporting suppliers to meet our production and quality standards. You will work proactively to guide suppliers in fulfilling our technical requirements and specifications, acting as a trusted link between internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier visits to perform pre-delivery inspections and manage quality deviations.
  • Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle deviations using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, PFMEA, and Fishbone diagrams.
  • Participate in claims handling processes when required.
  • Drive preventive actions, especially within Source and Method Change projects, ensuring that new suppliers meet company quality standards.
  • Contribute to internal investigations aimed at improving and streamlining organizational processes.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a solid general technical understanding
  • Experience from production or field service is considered an advantage
  • Background or familiarity with metallurgy is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
