VP Sales Korea and Japan
As our current VP Sales for Korea and Japan will move to another position during 2026 an exciting opportunity is here! We are starting the process of preparing for his replacement and the new VP Sales Korea and Japan will be working alongside the current leader for several months to prepare for a solid hand-over.
As VP Sales for Korea and Japan, you are responsible for driving sales and securing strong customer relations and capturing the market growth in the countries. You will lead a highly motivated and competent team and be working closely with our regional sales team, sector sales teams and product centers to secure and deliver on order intake and customer projects.

The role reports to SVP Sales & Marketing APAC and is part of the APAC Global Sales & Marketing Leadership Team.
You will also participate in the Korea country management team, where you will both represent Global Sales & Marketing but also form part of a management team providing leadership to the Korea organization.
In this exciting role, we need you to:
- Develop sales strategy, sales plans and sales pipeline targeting growth
- Drive solid "Flag-work"
- Manage and own customer relationships
- Deliver and/or support on product sales, bundling and integrated solutions sales
- Drive profitable sales growth on current and new customers within the portfolio
- Have budget responsibility both on OI and cost and ensure profitable and cost-effective sales
- Building a strong sales organization in terms of sales culture, competence and efficiency and secure a team culture which brings out the best in everyone
- Form part of and play a sound leadership role in both the APAC Sales & Marketing Leadership team and the KM Korea management team
An absolute must for the role and to achieve the above is to work and collaborate well across the organization both within sales and towards the rest of KM, and we are looking for someone who can do this.
In addition, we would like you to have:
- Preference of higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business or equal)
- Proven sales records and experience of leading and managing people soundly
- Ability to think strategically and ability to analyze and reach goals
- Commercial knowledge and financial understanding
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and solid interpersonal skills
- Solid English skills, both written and spoken
