Cyber Security Engineer

Qualifications

- Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related engineering field (or equivalent technical competence)
• Solid understanding of core network and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Firewall, VPN, etc)
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

- Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology security networking
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and routers (especially FortiGate, Moxa, Cisco products)
• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, FCP, or equivalent
• Experience in the maritime, shipbuilding, or plant automation industries is an advantage

Scope of Work

• Cyber Security engineering for new building projects
• Responsible for Configuring Cyber Security settings for KM products
• Develop and maintain Cyber Security Documentation
• Develop and maintain internal training and guidance to employees regarding Cyber Security requirements and configurations
• Provide advisory support for Cyber Security design, verification, and commissioning phases
• Provide advisory support for plan approval to Classification Societies 
• Liaise and cooperate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, SW Engineers and KM Products
• Promoting team work and building human relationships within the team

• Excellent English reading and writing skills
• Good listening and speaking ability for communication
