Area Sales Manager

What you can expect:

 

Our new Area Sales Manager (ASM) USA will have shared responsibility for the order income of the USA within Maritime Simulation, covering selected parts of the US. The role has a high level of operational activities and includes sales pipeline management, providing sales data, analysis and forecasting, use of sales processes as well as follow up. Your experience of leading and developing responses to large tenders/solicitations will prove a strong asset. You will contribute to the US and Americas sales strategy and ensure attainment of personal sales goals and profitability for existing and new markets and clients. You will develop and maintain both internal networks in the Kongsberg Group, particularly between US and Norway and external networks towards partners, market representatives, customers and applicable industry networks.

 

What do we expect:

 

You have a proven sales record within solution sales and a preferred background from maritime industry or similar.

 

You have a good understanding of the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiations.

 

You have an extensive network.

 

You have a strong focus on ethics and will be committed to the KONGSBERG values.

 

You have excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (preferably but not essential).
