Your Mission:
As a Technical Site Manager, you will be the key representative for Kongsberg Maritime’s Global Customer Support (GCS) and Aftermarket Services (AMS) projects on-site. You’ll focus on strengthening customer relationships, ensuring project coordination, and delivering technical excellence to shipyards and operators across Germany and North West Europe.
Your Responsibilities:
- On-Site Coordination: Manage and oversee local GCS/AMS projects, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards. Act as the primary contact for customers regarding site management issues, fostering long-term relationships.
- Administrative Support: Assist Project Managers with planning, quality control, and operational needs. Coordinate on-site logistics, including travel, timesheets, and procurement. Maintain internal and external contact networks.
- Technical Oversight: Provide engineering support and ensure successful project delivery, including commissioning and sea trials. Conduct surveys and contribute to project closure with thorough documentation. Collaborate with engineering and project teams on design, execution, and customer-specific solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements for customer support functions. Support operational excellence and contribute to achieving GCS/AMS goals.

Do you have what it takes?
- Degree in Engineering (BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English and the german language.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime products.
- Familiarity with classification requirements and technical project execution.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
