HR Business Partner - India

As HR Business Partner in Kongsberg Digital you will be part of a diverse and international HR team, where you will manage the HR and admin team locally in Bangalore. You will oversee all HR, HSE and admin activities for our two locations in India. You will work in close collaboration with local Managing Director and you will be reporting to Senior Vice President of HR and HSE in Norway.

The people is our most important asset and the main task of the role will be to contribute in all ways to value added participation for the company through employees and managers.

The width of the tasks requires an agile manager with the ability to drive development and change work. You have great collaboration skills, ability to build relationships, communicate and interact with everyone in the organization. You have experience of putting HR on the agenda in an exciting and competence-based business framework. You must have management experience within HR and can show solid results from previous roles

Main responsibilities:

  • Recruitment - plan and devise strategic campaigns and guidelines for recruiting suitable candidates for a required job description. Attract talent and hire resources.
  • Be the change Agent - The change agent understands the organization’s culture and institutionalizes change capability within the organization assisting line managers to lead and facilitate change.
  • Employee champion - The employee champion helps implement actions that enhance human capital contribution, help build workforce commitment and equitable people processes and practices. Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
  • Administrative Expert - Able to create and maintain various data and providing appropriate reports to the management. Able to track and present the progress on various initiative programs. Use power of digital design to enhance employee engagement and improve ties between an organization and its employees.
  • Actively contributes into the digital transformation by suggesting/working towards e-learning programs, employee analytics etc.
  • Managing and updating all HR Policies and Procedures and departmental compliant systems and processes
  • Oversees and manages the work of reporting Human Resources staff. Encourages the ongoing development of the Human Resources staff.
  • Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises. Leads competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.

To be a perfect match for the position you have a Master’s degree with 5-8 years of professional work experience with HR in the consulting or industry sectors. You are organized and analytical with excellent English communication skills. You are experienced with the use of recruitment- and screening tools like Cut-e, OPQ or similar. If you have experience with people analytics it is an advantage
