Area Sales Manager, Spares

With us in Kongsberg Maritime we are currently looking for a new colleague to join us as Area Sales Manager, Spares within our Global Customer Support division. You will in this role manage spare parts sales within agreed region and with our customers.

Your responsibilities include making spare part quotations and order handling based on customer requests. Your mainly focus will be on dry dock planning, larger overhaul jobs and proactive work. This might be directly towards customer or in close cooperation with our regions and CRM’s.

Key accountabilities

  • Respond to customers request on spare parts
  • Handle customer orders, including quality check of prices and delivery times
  • Support our customers the best way possible with keeping both the customers and the company’s interest in mind
  • Coordinate with other internal Kongsberg Maritime departments to get orders delivered
  • Travel and attend to customer meetings

Qualifications and experience

  • Preferably technical knowledge or background
  • Product knowledge from our propulsion products
  • Experience from the marine industry, dealing with customers and global spares sales
  • Good IT skills in programs such as MS Office and ERP systems
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
