Do you want to be part of Kongsberg Maritime’s future with a fast-track technical position that will give you an opportunity to learn new skills in exciting maritime applications?  We are currently looking for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer – Propulsion to join our team.

In this role, you will primarily work with various Kongsberg propulsion mechanical/hydraulic services, commissioning and upgrades related to the product portfolio. The position requires availability to travel (domestic and international) to attend service and training in planned or short notice demands including weekends and holidays, whenever required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Functional / Technical – Knowledge and abilities to perform work with quality results

  • Degree in technical discipline or work equivalent and/or minimum of two years of Propulsion Field Service Experience in the Marine Industry but not required
  • Ability to work lawfully in Canada
  • Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills in English language
  • Microsoft 365 package user level
  • Hold valid Passport
  • Availability to travel with short notice, after hours, holidays/weekend, for long periods both locally and internationally
  • Ability to obtain a working visa for US
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
