Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager in Kongsberg Maritime AS. In this role, you will be a part of the Service Delivery Team, providing service, support, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications to our customers.

Through collaboration with other colleagues, you will be responsible for the commercial and technical execution, and follow-up of work orders and projects for our internal and external customers. Our projects typically have a lifespan of a week, and up to half a year, where you will be responsible for 15-30 projects in various phases and of different sizes.

Key accountabilities

  • Prepare technical documentation required for project and work orders in cooperation with supporting functions
  • Plan, manage, execute, and control projects according to mandate
  • Manage quotations, purchase orders, and prepare for invoicing
  • Be a single point of contact between KM and our customers
  • Quality assurance and documentation of work orders
  • Participate in department, and business wide improvement projects and initiatives


Qualifications and experience

  • Project management experience, or aspiring for such a challenge
  • Knowledge of, or interest in maritime operations and products
  • Competence or interest in the technical domain can be an advantage
  • Work experience from commercial or customer-oriented roles
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
