We are currently looking for enthusiastic sales talents with a desire to succeed in the space industry to join our new office in the Silicon Valley, CA area. The position will focus on sales of Ground Station services to primarily commercial satellite owners and operators in the US market, and will work under Kongsberg Defense Systems Inc. with HQ in Alexandria, VA.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered for the educational requirement. Experience working in the Satellite Industry preferred. Qualified candidate must have excellent achievements in tech sales, commercial orientation, and a desire to work in a tech environment. They must have excellent inter-personal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution, be competitive and driven, yet patient enough to work long sales cycles. Also, must have the ability to build networks and gain trust and cooperation, work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with a sense of urgency in a changing and fast-paced environment. There is considerable potential for professional and personal development in the company.
