Project Manager - Energy

An opportunity awaits you as Project Manager - Energy, reporting to Vice President Energy Projects. In this role, you will play a part in our high achieving execution team, delivering essential products and services for our business.

As the Project Manager - Energy you are accountable for delivering Energy projects through the entire project lifecycle from start up to aftermarket handover with full ownership of Scope, Schedule, Risk and P&L to our customers and internal stakeholders.  You are part of a new and developing project management function responsible for delivering Energy systems and products across multiple vessel types, configurations, and segments to the maritime industry. You will lead a multidisciplined project team of experienced and motivated individuals to achieve our internal and external obligations of the KM Energy strategy.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project execution in accordance with contractual obligations, project budget, and schedules in compliance to the energy framework and company procedures.
• Manage and lead projects to foster an integrated and motivated team in accordance with KM ethics and values
• Responsible for resourcing, planning, budgeting and achieving project objectives according to the project mandate
• Establish a continuous improvement culture by means of team building, identifying critical success factors and managing risk to achieve project goals
• Prepare internal and external periodic reporting to include stakeholder management

Qualifications and experience

• Degree qualified in Business, Project Management or Engineering Discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Project / Engineering environment in the Maritime Industry or within the Oil and Gas Industry
• Self-starter with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and commit to decisions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
