Aftermarket Sales Manager –Energy & Control Seaborne, Integrated Systems
We are seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager Energy & Control Seaborne, Integrated Systems in Kongsberg Maritime’s division Global Customer Support. We need a Sales Manager with determination and ability to solve challenging technical tasks often within short time frames.

As Aftermarket Sales Manager for conversion and integrated system upgrades, you will be involved supporting our customers meeting their performance and environmental KPI’s for their sailing fleet worldwide. In this role you will make a measurable difference to meet customers’ requirements for a sustainable operation for their sailing fleet.
Key accountabilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in tendering processes, overseeing multi-disciplinary competence areas.
- Approaching existing and new customers in the seaborne segment with solutions to improve performance, obtain cost savings and reduction in emissions.
- Develop budget proposal and achieve the sales in line with our strategy. Responsible for aligning the technical specification and cost calculation according to our Sales Process.
- Manage integration and interfaces with existing vessels and if needed, provide technical assistance to customers, suppliers, internal concept design and feasibility studies.
- Internal and external networking to be able to offer standardized solutions for the seaborne market.
- Develop and deliver system solution packages with emphasis towards lower emissions and reduce operating cost.
- Specialize in Energy solutions
Qualifications and experience
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical systems, automation and control, marine engineering or similar.
- Experience from working with hybridization, electrification solutions and hydrodynamic enhancements is preferred.
- Capable to understand and interpretate instrumentation diagrams, architectural and mechanical documents.
- Experience from working in the maritime business, preferably in the seaborne transportation segment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s product portfolio is preferred.
