Site Coordinator

Kongsberg Maritime Turku is expanding, and we are seeking a part-time Site Coordinator to handle various site tasks—including purchases, contract management, yearly calendar coordination, and practical arrangements with our diverse teams. At the Turku site, you’ll be part of a team developing cutting-edge remote and autonomous maritime solutions, enjoying a dynamic, start-up-like environment.
In this role, you'll work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to create and oversee processes that support our product, engineering, and development teams, enabling them to do their best work.
Main Tasks
General Site Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the site, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide administrative support, including document preparation, scheduling, and maintaining records
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and yearly calendar activities.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and practical arrangements for teams
Procurement & Contract Management
- Handle purchases and procurement of R&D and office supplies, ensuring inventory is maintained
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships, including negotiating terms and monitoring compliance
- Define an asset management system and process for the sites R&D assets
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant laws
- Monitor and manage operational costs and budgets
Logistics & Practical Arrangements
- Coordinate logistics for site activities, including deliveries and event arrangements
- Oversee maintenance of site facilities and equipment
- Support onboarding and training for new staff or visitors
Key Skills and Attributes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, service-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with digital tools and process improvement
Qualifications and experience
- Suitable education in project management and/or administration
- Experience in managing projects and tasks
- Demonstrated financial acumen
- Fluent in Finnish and English, a Nordic language is a plus

30 hours/week
