Global Operations Manager – Bridge and Autonomy Compliance and Standards, Product and development bridge systems

In this role, you will join our dynamic Product & Development Bridge Systems team, ensuring our solutions remain fully compliant with global maritime regulations and classification standards while shaping future industry practices.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead regulatory compliance and standards activities across our Bridge Systems portfolio. This role involves acting as the central authority for compliance strategy, regulatory insight, and advisory input, enabling safe, efficient, and future-ready navigation solutions. You will collaborate closely with product teams, classification societies, and regulatory bodies to ensure our products meet current and emerging standards. Some traveling must be expected.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor and interpret international regulations and best practices related to maritime and electronic (IMO, SOLAS, IEC, ISO etc.)
  • Develop compliance strategies and ensure integration into product development
  • Serve as the knowledge hub for compliance and standards within Bridge Systems
  • Provide guidance and documentation for internal teams and customers
  • Engage with NGOs, classification societies, and regulatory bodies on regulatory development
  • Track emerging regulations and advise leadership on strategic implications

We think you should have

  • Higher technical education within the maritime area or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and classification standards
  • Experience in compliance management and regulatory engagement
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills and ability to work in a structured, independent, and proactive manner
