Documentation Lead - Thruster Systems

We are looking to hire Documentation Lead with hands-on experience on safe loading and/or technical writing in addition to people management skills to join the Thruster Systems business unit. In this role, you will own and develop lifting and transport solutions, product manuals and coordinate work across functions and locations. As a people manager, you will lead your own team, combining a detail-oriented approach with the ability to inspire and guide them to deliver world-class, safe, and efficient solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects across engineering, manufacturing, delivery, and support functions, while also coordinating global initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities

• Own Safe Loading Instructions, transport supports and documentation including manuals for Thruster products
• Lead your own team of experts and subcontractors; plan workload, quality, and releases
• Manage design of transport support and grow a reusable item library for Engineer-to-Order (EtO)
• Coordinate with HSE, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, Service, and logistics partners for compliance
• Drive safety, quality, and cost
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and quality in documentation

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering discipline
• Strong project management, leadership, and financial acumen
• Experience in lifting, lashing and/or technical documentation
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel as required
